Resisting Arrest

It seems that an automatic charge levelled, by police, against us is that of "resisting arrest."

Is that a lawful charge?

There is a maxim of law that states:

Aqua curit et debet currere. Water runs and ought to run. 3 Rawle, 84, 88.

This simply highlights the fact that no law can require an act contrary to nature or to natural processes.

With that in mind, is not the reactions of fight or flight a natural process. Self preservation is a basic reaction to all that lives. We all have it.

How then can a man or woman be charged with acting in concert with nature?

Again, this is another stupid statute and pertains only to legal entities, and not to humans.
