Hijacking Human Rights

"An exasperated Alberta judge has issued a call to arms against legal “parasites” who hijack court proceedings with nonsensical motions and bizarre spiritual and legal principles of their own making.” Globe and Mail

Does not a man or woman, human-beings, have the right to use the court system to defend themselves when they believe they are being injured?

For who’s purpose are the courts in existence? Is it primarily to provide a living for judges or lawyers? No. Is it to provide a means by which legal entities and corporations can control human-beings and their property? It certainly seems that way. The courts are there primarily to provide just decisions for humans, based on the Rule of Law, to those who feel or believe they have been wronged, and in a manner which protects their human rights.

Does not this government promise to honour our "right to life, liberty and security of the person and the right not to be deprived thereof except in accordance with the principles of fundamental justice" and to presumed we are "innocent until proven guilty according to law in a fair and public hearing by an independent and impartial tribunal."

I believe/feel wronged by the comments made this judge and others that I have faced who seem only to know and operate in the legislative world of statutes and not in the "Rule of Law". I would have expected better from one who sits as a judge in Queen’s Bench.

"Whereas Canada is founded upon principles that recognize the supremacy of God and the rule of law:” Canada's Charter

Our courts must return to the Rule of Law where humans are concerned.

This judge was out of line with his comments and ought apologize to the people who live on the land mass referred to as Canada.
